Terms of Use

By accessing or using any of our Games, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Games. You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to create an account or use our Games. If you are under that age, you may only use the Games with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Greasy Apps develops and publishes casual mobile games, such as sorting and puzzle games, for platforms including Apple iOS and Google Android. Our Games may offer optional user accounts, cloud-saved progress, leaderboards and high scores, achievements, virtual in-game currency, and in-app purchases. The Games are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, and we reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any Game or any part of a Game at any time.

Some features require you to create an account. Accounts are created through third-party sign-in providers, specifically Sign in with Google and Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, we receive a unique account identifier and basic profile information from your chosen provider to create and secure your account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of the account you use to sign in and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are associated with fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.

You agree not to use our Games to:

• •Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• •Infringe on the rights of others, including intellectual property rights.
• •Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software, bots, modifications, or automation to gain an unfair advantage, manipulate scores or leaderboards, or generate virtual currency or items.
• •Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any Game, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
• •Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Games, user accounts, or our systems and servers.
• •Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the functionality, integrity, or servers of the Games.
• •Upload or transmit harmful, offensive, infringing, or inappropriate content, including in display names or leaderboard entries.

We may remove content, reset scores or progress, revoke virtual items, and suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably determine have breached this section.

Our Games may offer virtual currency, coins, gems, boosters, levels, cosmetics, or other virtual items ("Virtual Items") that can be earned through gameplay or purchased with real money. You do not own Virtual Items; instead, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Virtual Items within the relevant Game.

• •Virtual Items have no monetary value, are not your property, and cannot be redeemed, exchanged, or cashed out for real money or anything of value outside the Game.
• •Virtual Items are non-transferable and may not be sold, traded, gifted, or sublicensed to other users except where a Game expressly provides such a feature.
• •We may, at our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, manage, regulate, modify, replace, devalue, or remove Virtual Items, including by changing their price, availability, or in-game effect.
• •Unless required by applicable law, purchases of Virtual Items are final and non-refundable, and any unused Virtual Items are forfeited when your account is terminated or when a Game is discontinued.

Our Games may offer in-app purchases (for example, Virtual Items or the removal of advertisements). All purchases are processed by the platform through which you obtained the Game — the Apple App Store or Google Play — and are subject to that platform's terms of service and payment policies. We do not collect or store your full payment card details; the platform handles your payment and provides us only with a confirmation of the transaction.

Prices and the availability of in-app purchases may change at any time. Refunds, where available, are generally handled by the relevant platform in accordance with its refund policies. Where you have a statutory right to a refund under applicable consumer law, that right is unaffected by these Terms.

Some Games display leaderboards, high scores, or other competitive features. By participating, you agree that your chosen display name and relevant scores or achievements may be shown to other players. You agree to compete fairly and not to submit scores obtained through cheating, tampering, or any prohibited means. We may, at our discretion, remove, reset, or refuse to display scores or accounts that we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or in breach of these Terms.

All content, features, and functionality of our Games — including but not limited to the games themselves, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, gameplay mechanics, and software — are the exclusive property of Greasy Apps or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Games for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, or create derivative works from any part of the Games without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of any content you provide through the Games, such as your display name. By submitting such content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and process it solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Games (for example, showing your display name on a leaderboard). You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or the rights of others, and you must not submit content that is offensive, misleading, or infringing.

The Games are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Games will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components, nor do we guarantee that progress, scores, or Virtual Items will never be lost. Your use of the Games is at your own risk, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Greasy Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, progress, Virtual Items, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Games. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Games shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ten euros (€10). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Greasy Apps and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Games; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of the rights of any third party; or (d) any content you submit. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification by you.

We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any Game or any of its features at any time, with or without notice. This includes adding or removing features, changing gameplay or Virtual Items, and permanently shutting down a Game and its online services. When a Game or its online services are discontinued, access to your account, saved progress, and Virtual Items associated with that Game may be permanently lost. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Games at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the affected Games will immediately cease and any associated Virtual Items may be forfeited. You may stop using the Games at any time and may request deletion of your account as described on our account deletion page. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the relevant Game or by other appropriate means. Your continued use of the Games after such changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Games shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
